Dr. Navid Sharifzadeh is a board certified specialist in Periodontology and implant dentistry. He earned his DDS degree in 2003 and built an evidence-based state-of-the-art multi-specialty practice and worked as a general dentist for 10 years before starting his residency program in periodontology and implant dentistry at the University of Southern California in 2013.

In 2017, Dr. Sharifzadeh received the prestigious Diplomate status in periodontology and dental implant surgery from the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Sharifzadeh lectures nationally and internationally on advanced dental implant surgery and periodontal regenerative therapy.

Dr. Sharifzadeh’s main focus is on soft tissue management around teeth and implants. He recently wrote two book chapters as a co-author on soft tissue procedures around dental implants as well as a chapter on complications in dental implants in the esthetic zone. 

Dr. Sharifzadeh is a member of several professional organizations such as the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, European Academy of Osseointegration and he is currently teaching Periodontology part-time as a visiting faculty. He is the founder of  IMPACT educational platform.

Dr. Sharifzadeh is a former member of Iran’s National Basketball team and also an avid tennis player and violinist.
